People go into "secret" meetings for months at a time and make decisions that affect many people's lives. When the deed is finally done, it seems that everyone else on campus knows about it, except for the people that are affected! Is it really an "HR" issue, or is it a power issue?<br /><br />On the other side of the coin, faculty and staff know things about people (other faculty, staff, administrators), that if "the powers that be" (administration, students, community, chancellor's office, etc) knew, there would be many changes. It's like a dysfunctional family.
